This time at KL Bird Park and Butterfly Park. The result? Hurm, ok la I guess. I just realized that the only time my photos look nice is when the subject matter is something great/ beautiful. Meaning anyone can take the same great photos. My techniques and compositions are still bad I guess. I envy those guys that can shoot anything ordinary and turn it into something spectacular. Now that’s pure talent. Well, what I’m gonna do now is keep shooting, keep analyzing, look at other’s photos and hope it’ll improve me… On yesterday’s experience, I was tryin to learn how to shoot animal and insect. Damn hard, maybe coz of my shaky hands kot (the tripod is bloody useless when taking these shots!!). The hardest would definitely be the insect coz they are small and move fast. Those buggers are really hard to lock on the focus. I also found out that only butterflies with large wing span splay open their wings when resting. Others with smaller span close it, so if u see a good shot of splaying wings, it’s a definitely a rare shot!!
